The Precision Engineering (PE) industry is a key pillar in the Singapore economy. It is the backbone serving the breadth of manufacturing – supporting key industries such as medical technology, semiconductor equipment and aerospace.
As Singapore establishes herself as a centre of excellence for PE, we will require a highly skilled and versatile workforce to meet the challenges of tomorrow - people who can innovate and turn ideas into reality.
To achieve this, the Singapore Government has launched a $76 million PE Manpower Initiative to train and upgrade 2000 professionals in the PE workforce over the next 5 years. Please visit www.spring.gov/pe for more information

A five-year structured in-employment upgrading programme jointly developed by the Government and industry to provide training and career enhancement opportunities for engineering candidates in employment through these approved upgrading courses:
